Heavyweight Belt Oak Bark Black/Nickel

$168

Super heavyweight belt, made for heavyweight denim, and for those who prefer a wider belt. The 48mm width is designed to fit most belt loops on most premium denim.

Handmade from heavy quality 5-6mm Oak Bark tanned leather, which is produced by England’s last remaining oak bark tannery. Each piece of leather takes 12 months to produce, using traditional tanning methods that date back centuries. We only use the premium ‘butt’ of the hide for its strength, and also to prevent our belts from stretching.

Please note that when new, a small amount of white ‘bloom’ may sometimes appear on the belt. Don’t worry, this is totally natural and is caused by the waxes in the leather rising to the surface. It can easily be removed by brushing the leather. It will only be present when the leather is ‘new’ and will vanish after some use.

Quality hardware is hard to come by, so ours is made by hand. The guys that make our buckles have been casting brass since 1837, so they’re pretty good at it. They also hold the Royal warrant as suppliers to household of the Queen of England, and that’s testament enough for us! Our Heavyweight buckle is created using traditional sand casting skills, and is made from solid brass with an antique nickel finish. The rivets we use are also solid brass nickel plated, designed for quality and strength.

The result of our endeavours is a rugged belt of outstanding quality that will stand the test of time. Handmade with the care and attention that mass production will never imitate

Each belt comes with a Barnes & Moore gift box, made from recycled, sustainable materials and complimentary 5ml bottle of pure neatsfoot oil, used to condition the leather.

Despatch Messenger Bag Indigo

$386

Our Despatch messenger bag reflects back to days gone by, when a bag was designed to be not only a practical piece of working kit, but also an item of everyday functional necessity.

We studied the needs of the user, and worked on creating a bag with enough room to accommodate all your everyday and travel needs. There were many considerations such as materials, durability, design and practicality, and it also needed to look pretty good!

All fabrics on this bag were carefully chosen to develop a stunning vintage patina with age, and use and, as with all our products, quality core materials were a key focus.

The outer of the bag is made out of hardwearing waxed cotton from Scottish textile mill Halley Stevensons. They’ve been producing quality waxed fabric since 1864, so they know a thing or two about it. We also figured that the bag lining takes a lot of punishment, so the lining is military grade, natural cotton sailcloth from renowned British textile manufacturer British Millerain. This fabric was originally used by the British Royal Navy as sailcloth for their ships, so it’s as hardwearing as it gets.

The leather is the finest quality vegetable tanned leather, from the Lo Stivale tannery in Tuscany, which is renowned for it’s high quality leathers worldwide.

Inside the bag we included a handy pocket with a zip closure. Again, concentrating on the details, we wanted the best zip available, so we chose, the original, vintage Talon zipper. We also added two pockets with  brass stud fastening, and leather pen loops. Solid brass, hand cast buckles were used to provide a simple, traditional buckle fastening top flap.

Original Halley Stevensons ® wax used to restore weatherproofing of your bag is available here

As with all our products, your bag is hand made by time served craftsmen in England.

Each bag comes in a recycled box, complete with dust bag.

Roadster Long Wallet/Lanyard Emerald Horween Shell Cordovan

$543

We did a lot of research prior to designing our Roadster, as our goal was to produce a long wallet, which was equally substantial, stylish and practical.

It has a slightly slimmer profile at 100mm wide (when closed), to make sure it sits comfortably in the rear pocket of most denims when worn with the sold brass tether. The brass tether ring can also be removed to allow the wallet to sit inside a jacket pocket, if preferred.

This Ltd edition of the wallet is hand crafted from genuine Horween Shell Cordovan with a contrasting inner made from Tärnsjö Garveri organic leather, sourced from Sweden’s reputed Tarnsjo tannery. Horween Shell Cordovan is reputed to be the finest leather in world with unique properties that can’t be imitated. Both the leathers that we use for this  wallet have a rich heritage dating back centuries and have a reputation for making only the finest quality leathers.   This is a unique wallet and will develop a stunning patina over time, only getting better with age!

Storage is important, so we’ve included 8 credit card pockets, 3 full length note pockets and also two ‘vertical’ card pockets for driving licence etc. There is also a zipped compartment for change etc secured with a high quality ‘Riri’ zipper.

Each wallet comes complete with a solid brass wallet chain with solid brass hardware, and also a complimentary 5ml bottle of neatstfoot oil for conditioning the leather.
