- Made from full grain leather, considered worldwide to be the best quality leather available. It is produced using the top surface of the hide where the fibres are much tighter making it extremely durable, and can last more than one lifetime with proper care.
- The natural grain and appearance of the hide is retained, and scars and natural marking may be visible. This is perfectly normal, and add to the unique beauty of each item made from it.
- Full grain leather is very expensive to produce, as the full hide is used to produce it, so you will only see it being used on the highest quality leather goods.
- We only use the premium ‘butt’ of the hide for its strength, and also to prevent our belts from stretching.
- Each belt comes complete with a 5ml bottle of neatsfoot oil used to condition the leather.

Traditional design belt with a quality hand cast Japanese buckle and a slightly narrower profile at  35mm.
Handmade from heavy quality 5-6mm Oak Bark tanned leather, which is custom produced for us by England’s last remaining oak bark tannery. Naturally a firm leather, which becomes softer and more supple with use.
- Russian ‘crosshatch’ embossed leather inspired by the famous Russian calf leather.
- Handmade Japanese vintage style buckle, made from solid brass, using traditional Japanese sand casting methods.
- Buckle available in burnished brass or burnished nickel finish.
- Natural undyed oak bark hide, each belt will have unique natural markings, and will also darken to a rich tan colour over time.
- Each belt is stitched by hand using traditional methods.
- Oak bark tanned  from the famous J & FJ Baker’s tannery in Devon, England. Reputed to be one of the best quality leathers in the world. Each piece of leather takes over 12 months to produce and is highly labour intensive, which is why there are only a handful of tanneries in the world who still produce leather this way.
