• Oak bark tanned leather from the famous J & FJ Baker’s tannery in Devon, England. Reputed to be one of the best quality leathers in the world. Each piece of leather takes over 12 months to produce and is highly labour intensive, which is why there are only a handful of tanneries in the world who still produce leather this way.
• This leather is high quality full grain hide, meaning it may show some natural marking, which adds to the unique quality of each belt. We only use the premium ‘butt’ of the hide for its strength, and also to prevent our belts from stretching.
• This leather is a different finish to our Oak Bark Conker and Oak Bark Black leathers, and is softer and more supple.

• Every solid brass buckle is handmade using traditional ‘sandcast’ casting methods. The guys that make our buckles have been casting brass since 1837, so they’re pretty good at it. They also hold the Royal warrant as suppliers to the household of the King of England!
