With regular care, shell cordovan can last a lifetime, so in order to maintain it, we recommend a care program using Saphir products developed specifically for this fine leather.

Caring for your Shell Cordovan…

Remove any surface dirt or dust by brushing with a fine horsehair brush Saphir Renovateur cream using the chamois cotton cloth. The purpose of this cream is to nourish the leather and to open the pores of the hide to help absorb the Cordovan Cream used in step 3.

Step 1:

Apply the Cordovan Cream using a clean chamois cotton cloth, working in a ‘back and forth’ motion. Allow to dry for a few minutes.

Step 2:

For a mirror finish, apply a small amount of Amiral Gloss with a clean chamois cotton cloth working in a small circular motion. Allow to dry, and then buff to achieve a high gloss shine.
